Small Groups Support
There are many small community and voluntary groups in Trafford ranging from:
- Groups set up to represent a particular neighbourhood, such as tenant and resident groups
- Groups set up with a particular interest, such as young people or older people or sports club
- Groups set up to carry out a service or activity, such as a parents group
The Trafford Small Groups Healthcheck has been developed to support small community and voluntary groups that want to start up, develop and/ or run more effectively. The healthcheck is designed to discover the groups’ strengths and identify what support may be needed to help them to develop. The results of the healthcheck can be used to produce an action plan, with actions for the organisation’s committee and any signposting to support available. If you are a small group and want help to start up or develop please contact bernadette.elder@thrivetrafford.org.uk.
