VCSE Sector Representation

Thrive Trafford has been working with partners to develop a model of VCSE sector representation on key groups and partnerships, including on the four Locality Partnerships, to enable the VCSE sector to develop a stronger voice in Trafford. This approach has included close working with key partners and the Strong Communities Board. Thrive will support recruitment, management and intelligence gathering regarding VCSE sector needs. Thrive will also assist in communicating feedback from VCSE representation through the discussion hub on this site, which will be used to relay key messages and upcoming opportunities. Through VCSE sector representation we will support:

• A stronger voice, presence and visibility for the VCSE Sector in Trafford through improved representation, networking and influencing

• Better defined networks and information routes including VCSE Sector organisations contributing to the identification of service gaps and influencing the achievement of better outcomes by participating in local decision and co-production

• A re-defined, clearer sense of purpose which strengthens the relationship on both sides between Strategic Partners and the VCSE Sector in Trafford
