Thrive is working to support Climate Change & we need your input. Please attend VCFSE Forum event: Thursday 18th July 10am–12pm

Thrive is working with all our partners and the VFCSEs in Trafford to reduce Plastic waste to support Climate Change. This is a very important topic, as it will also support us going forward in representing the sector on the Trafford Climate Change Network. We will be focusing on that more broadly at the next Thrive Trafford VCFSE Strategic Forum event, which is taking place on: Thursday 18th July 2024, 10:00am – 12:00pm Refreshments and Networking from 9:30am. Event will start prompt at 10:00am. Venue: The Ballroom, Stretford Public Hall, Chester Road, Stretford M32 0LG We will be joined at the event by our Keynote Speaker Cllr Rose Thompson, Executive Member for Communities and Safety, who will present the new Corporate Plan, and the event will include input from our partners supporting the VCFSE sector in Trafford including: Live Well – Tabz Obrien, Strategic Lead for Live Well, GMCA. Social Enterprise – Chris Hart, Director, Thrive Trafford. Social Value – Caroline Lewis, Social Value Coordinator, Trafford Council. Climate Change – Lydia Fairhurst Marshall, Community Climate Action Lead, Groundwork GM. This is an important opportunity for Trafford’s VCFSEs to help shape and implement strategic priorities for Trafford over the next 3 years and to grow as a strong and resilient sector. So please come along and learn about these latest developments, input your thoughts, and network with colleagues.
