Thrive Trafford are extremely pleased to announce two new training workshops specifically tailored for Trafford social enterprises/ social entrepreneurs.

Developing a Marketing Plan for Social Enterprise

Thursday, 14th November 1:00pm – 4:00pm

Stretford Public Hall, Chester Road, Stretford, M32 0LG

Join media social enterprise Yellow Jigsaw to get started in developing a Marketing Plan. Expect to walk away with tools, templates, know-how and lots of hacks to save you time and money!

In the training session you will cover the following:

·        Marketing plan: key principles

·        Building your customer profile

·        Overview of key marketing channels: and how to make the most of them

·        Measuring success

·        Takeaway tasks

The training will be delivered by Grace Dyke from Yellow Jigsaw. Grace has more than a decade’s experience of managing marketing projects and campaigns across the public and voluntary sector and is a key partner and supporter of the VCFSE sector working across Trafford.

An Introduction to Business Planning for Social Enterprise

Thursday, 28th November, 10:00am – 12:30pm

Stretford Public Hall, Chester Road, Stretford, M32 0LG

Are You Ready to Plan? Join award-winning, accredited social enterprise The Growth Company to get started with business planning. This training will be especially helpful for those social enterprises or budding social entrepreneurs who are looking to develop a business plan for the first time or who need one for funders or partners.

In the training session you will cover the following:

·        What makes a good business plan

·        Key elements such as vision, mission and aims

·        Marketing

·        Financials

·        Assessing risks

·        Takeaway tasks

The training will be delivered by Stuart Vaughan, VCSE Specialist at GM Business Growth Hub who has many years experience of supporting the development and growth of social enterprises in Greater Manchester.

Places for each training session are limited to a maximum of 15 people, so please book quickly if you would like to attend.
